Try our mulled cranberry and pomegranate jelly recipe - the perfect winter spiced jelly to enjoy this festive season with all of the mulling spices, just without the alcohol.
Nutritional highlights
This merry jelly counts towards one of our five a day thanks to the fruit juices! Eating our 5 a day can help to reduce our risks of heart disease, stroke and some types of cancer.
Both juices provide us with antioxidants which can help protect our cells from free radical damage which could lead to cancer. Pomegranate juice in particular has more antioxidants than green tea.
Both juices are also great sources of vitamin C and E meaning they help keep our cells, skin, bones, blood vessels, eyes and immune system healthy.

Healthy swaps/tips
- Don’t add gelatine to boiling mixture as this can prevent it from setting properly.
- Make it vegan by using vegan gelatine or agar agar.
- Not a fan of pomegranate or cranberry juice, swap them for red grape juice and apple juice.
