This is how it works:
- Ask your GP for an open referral. An open referral is when a GP doesn't name a particular specialist, but instead gives the type of specialist that you need to see.
- Call our claims team who will check if your treatment is covered.
- If required, we'll find up to 3 relevant specialists for you.
- You can then go ahead and book your appointment with your specialist of choice or alternatively our team will book this for you.
- We know each consultant’s specialism so we can get your team to the right specialist at a time and place that suits them best.
- If we book an appointment for your employees, we aim to let them know when this is by the end of the next working day, if not before.
