With our Personal Health insurance plan, our 24/7 health support line is there for you day and night, just as you are there for your children. We also provide members with easy access to a wealth of health and wellbeing information online.
Cover for your young ones
Children have unique concerns. Things like prominent ears or a birthmark on their face. With Personal Health cover you could get issues like these addressed. Your child could also get access to up to six sessions of speech therapy if required due to a delay in their development. This cover is for children 14 and under only, subject to no planned or pending treatment.
Free cover for new arrivals
As an AXA Health member, if you have a new baby, you’ll feel reassured to know your little one has cover on your health insurance plan too. Give us a quick call to share your news and cover for your new-born will be free until your renewal date (restrictions and limits to cover may apply).
A helping hand in the early days
Being a new parent is a joyful but daunting time. Even if you’ve had a baby before, it can be hard to know if everything’s as it should be. With family health insurance you’ll have access to a team of fully trained midwives to call when you need reassurance.** They’ll check how everything’s going with you and your baby, and help you adjust to your vital new role (routine childbirth and pregnancy not covered)
Accommodation when your child’s in hospital
Being away from home can be a worrying time for children, especially when their stay is in hospital. We make it easier for you to be near your child while they receive treatment covered by your Personal Health insurance. We’ll pay for one parent to stay with them in hospital, and up to £100 a night towards accommodation for another parent in a nearby hotel (up to £500 a year).

What's not covered by our health plan?
Like all insurance plans, there are some things we don't cover. Here are some of our key exclusions:
- Treatment of medical conditions that you had – or had symptoms of – before you joined
- Routine pregnancy and childbirth
- Treatment of ongoing, recurring and long-term conditions
