Consultant neurologist review
The consultant neurologist will aim to review your case within three working days and advise you on next steps – including if you need a face-to-face consultation or any tests.
The neurology service includes the following, as needed, as long as you have the appropriate benefits for outpatient specialist consultations:
1 If you’re a member on a large corporate scheme, login to your online account to check if you have access to the neurology service. If you don’t have access, call us
on your claims line number in your handbook, and we’ll advise you on available options.
2 Based on members waiting an average of 48.5 days for a face-to-face appointment with a neurologist. Jan – Dec 2023 when using our specialist appointment booking service.
3 Not available on child only plans. If you’re a member on a large corporate scheme you can check if you have access to this service on your online account.
Accessing treatment or making a claim is subject to your underwriting, so please check your membership documents for details of how your membership covers pre-existing conditions/symptoms. As well as your underwriting, there may be other reasons why your treatment may not be covered.
