In this session, we will explore the difference between loneliness and isolation, the impact on our mental and physical health, ways we can overcome loneliness and isolation in our professional and personal lives, and learn about the supports that are available.
In this session, we will explore our emotions and gain a deeper understanding of how complex grief can be, and why people react and grieve in different ways. We will look at some common myths around grief, grieving within a family, and living with loss. We will also advise on how to best support others and ourselves during a period of grief or loss.
What is mindfulness? In this session we will explore the practice of mindfulness and the benefits it can have on our wellbeing. We will learn about the autopilot mind and the focused mind, as well as give attendees an opportunity to join in on some mindfulness exercises led by an experienced psychologist.
