The speakers
Jan Vickery
Propositions Category Lead, AXA Health
Jan is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a Registered Ergonomist and has worked in the occupational health sector for over 20 years. She also serves on the Faculty of Occupational Medicine’s Ethics Committee. At AXA Health she leads a multidisciplinary team delivering clinical services across a variety of work environments. Jan has experience across a wide variety of settings including airline, supermarket, pharmaceutical, manufacture & assembly, the finance sector and the NHS.
Steve Gates
Managing Director, Taking Care
Steve is the Managing Director of Taking Care, AXA Health’s specialist eldercare subsidiary. Taking Care are the UK’s largest private provider of personal alarms and provide 24/7 emergency monitoring for over 130,000 customers – both individuals and via Local Authority contracts. Taking Care is an innovative provider who are increasingly moving into the important area of Falls Prevention, delivering vastly improved health outcomes to older customers and providing confidence and security for their (working) family.
