Supportive workplaces create environments where people can flourish and want to stay. Our 2024 Mind Health Study reveals that there is a clear link between flourishing mind health and employee retention. Only 10% of flourishing UK workers said they planned on leaving their job due to the impact of their work on their wellbeing, compared with 33% who were languishing. And when employees feel as though their employer really cares about their mental health, they're almost twice as likely to be flourishing*.
Our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is here to guide your clients' employees in navigating the little things through to life changing events. They can speak to mental health professionals who are ready to support and guide them through any worries they have.
For your Large Corporate clients, EAP is available as a standalone service or as an integration into their healthcare scheme or plan with AXA Health. Or it can added as a cover option within our SME health insurance plans. Choose between Essential and Premier options, depending on whether your clients wish to include scheduled counselling sessions for their employees. Find out more about the options available in the sales brochure.

We understand that some problems are easier to work through than others. It’s why we don’t put a limit on the number of times an employee can call. And they can reach us 24/7, 365 days a year.
Whatever the problem, our team are ready to provide clinically led support and guidance to help employees feel back in control.
When a spell of face-to-face counselling is called for, we make it easy to access the support that’s needed.
One of our qualified team members will assess the employee’s needs and refer them to a suitable and convenient counsellor or psychologist, who will then provide up to five counselling sessions. Face-to-face counselling is available through EAP Premier only.
Phone counselling is a convenient and flexible way for employees to talk to our counsellors. It offers the same level of support and confidentiality as a face-to-face session.
And for those people who need to speak to us but are not sure about speaking with someone over the phone or face-to-face, online counselling provides the perfect way to talk discreetly. Employees can access up to five phone or online counselling sessions through EAP Premier.
From financial worries to consumer issues, housing concerns to eldercare, our Life Management team are here to listen, guide and support.
Our team will talk through an employee’s concerns and offer possible approaches to moving forward. We won’t provide legal advice, but we will give employees the means to make an informed decision on how to proceed.
We’re here to provide guidance to ensure managers are confident, comfortable and assured whenever they’re dealing with challenging, unfamiliar or complex situations.
The manager area of our online portal is also packed with useful tools and resources to help managers make the right call every time.
