From July 1st we’re making some small changes to Health For You. Health For You is AXA Health’s lower cost, ‘guided’, health insurance product for individual customers. Health-on-line began working with AXA PPP healthcare Limited in 2005, then joined the AXA Group in 2012.
As a ‘guided product’ our Health For You plan uses a reduced hospital list and customers that are seeking to claim will be directed to a local consultant or specialist by AXA Health from the product’s dedicated nationwide hospital list.
What’s changing?
- The Health-On-Line website will be transferred over to the AXA Health domain.
- Our sales and customer literature will be updated to be more aligned to the AXA Health brand.
Branding and digital
Since joining the AXA Group in 2012, the Health For You product has continued under the banner of the Health-On-Line brand. Following feedback from brokers and customers we now feel that it would be of benefit to them to bring the product under the AXA Health brand to improve clarity and consistency.
Pricing
With continuing challenges in public health, demand for private medical insurance across all customer segments continues to grow¹. In the individual market, we understand that, particularly for new entrants into the market, price plays a significant factor in their decision making in addition to service and brand confidence.
In order to support individual customers attracted to the benefits of AXA Health cover, but where price may be a concern, we’re reducing the price of our Health For You cover by 5%. This change will come into effect or policies starting on or after 1st July.

In addition to these changes we’d like to ask our brokers to position the Health For You product as a ‘guided’ product going forward.
