Introducing our enhanced wellbeing services and refreshed Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

Back in October last year, we gave you a hint of our plans to enhance our wellbeing services and Employee Assistance Programmes.

From 1 April 2025 your SME and Large Corporate clients that have EAP included as part of their scheme will benefit from:

  • Online best-fit clinician matching based on member preferences and clinical specialism as well as help available via phone, WhatsApp, SMS and live chat.
  • Access to a team of qualified and registered counsellors and mental health practitioners with a team of approximately 100 clinicians within the client care counselling team and an affiliate network of over 2,500 experts.
  • Enriched online content supporting mind, body and life, including articles, videos, online workouts, and digital Health Score assessments and guidance.
  • And for Large Corporate clients, their EAP will be integrated within the AXA Health app. This means, together with the axabesupported.co.uk website, they'll be providing their employees with access to support, wherever and whenever, with the Health Score assessments coming to the app from late May.

Your clients with our standalone EAP will also enjoy the same benefits.

Large Corporate clients

We're making access to our services simpler, using the same access code for both the AXA Health app and axabesupported.co.uk.

Here’s how your clients and their employees will access the services:

  • Clients will receive their access code in the coming days for their employees to use when logging in online or via the AXA Health app. If they are already on the App they shall be reissued the same code.
  • Employees will be prompted for their company access code on their first visit to axabesupported.co.uk or the AXA Health app, after which they’ll use their personal registration details to access the service.

Renewing clients

Access codes will update on renewal, however to support transition these have been extended a full renewal term from your clients next renewal. On a member’s first visit after renewal, they’ll be prompted once to enter the new company access code.

Enriched content in the Corporate AXA Health App

For our corporate private medical insurance and health trust clients who have onboarded the AXA Health App they too will see enriched online content supporting mind, body and life. The articles, videos, online workouts shall be added to the App from 1 April with the addition of digital Health Score assessments in late May. Supporting both health engagement and the signposting of members into their available services the App connects members to available support from the convenience of their smart devices – and with the addition of Health Score assessments a business can build an aggregated view of the health of their business. 

Helping your clients to unlock the value of a flourishing workforce

With a focus on prevention and sustainability many clients are looking at their wellbeing strategies. Further to our improved EAP services we have a raft of wellbeing support allowing your corporate clients to target their wellbeing strategy.

The AXA Health app and our online support offer an exciting foundation to further build your corporate clients’ wellbeing strategy. They can purchase from our range of wellbeing services including seminars, workshops, health assessments and health coaching to further support their workforce to form healthy habits. Access to these services is available online and via the AXA Health app from May 2025.

SME clients

SME clients, with an embedded EAP, will have access to the enhanced service from 1 April 2025 and will see no change in the way that employees access the service. Current passwords shall be retained until the next upcoming Product Review process where handbooks too shall be updated.
