October 2024 Product Review Analysis

Our October 2024 edition of Analysis covers all the product updates you need to know about when they come in to effect from 1 October 2024.

In this product review, we’ve worked on wording within our customer documents, ensuring our terms remain clear, fair and not misleading. We have also made enhancements to our proposition to meet customer needs and expectations. Branding for our Health For You product has also been aligned with AXA Health and away from Health-on-Line to ensure a more consistent customer experience.

Changes to SME and insured Large Corporate contract terms

We have made some changes to the contractual terms that we have in place with all AXA Health SME and Large Corporate insured clients and members covered under these arrangements.  These changes are designed to provide clarity around the nature of the contractual relationship between AXA PPP healthcare Ltd (the insurer), the client, members and family members who will be covered under the contract.

These amends have been made to fully align our Corporate insurance arrangements with the FCA’s definition of Group Policy. As such the client is established as the legal holder of the policy with members and family members covered under the policy established as Policyholders. We have also established under the terms of the membership handbooks that members under the group policy have cover under the policy as if they were party to the group insurance policy.

To support regulatory requirement of a group policy we have made it clear in the Group Insurance Contracts that AXA Health will provide appropriate information about the Group Insurance Contract for the group to provide to eligible members and family members of the scheme as required.
